Feeling Good Tonight: Cover Art

     This  cover illustration came together with my concept ,for the composition and color scheme, and Farra Aki's (singer-songwriter) interpretation of it. Using the mock cover art for reference, and a copy with only the background colors, she re-created the channel bars and different font for the text.

 

     The title was established by my music group 2siKK  when the chorus of the song had been established. The vibrant colors reinforce the warm happy tone of the production and lyrics. I like the piece simply for the color choices. As an artist that developed my skills in using graphite and steering clear of any colorful mediums my color choices can be hit or miss. This palette came together for me intuitively.
